Honoring Our #1 Volunteer: James “Jim” Williams

Dear Town of Ausable Residents,

For many years, James “Jim” Williams has been our town’s most dedicated volunteer, quietly keeping the streets and roadsides of Keeseville clean and beautiful. Whether picking up litter along our highways or tending flowers at Veterans Park and local historic sites, Jim has given countless hours to make our community shine.

He truly is our #1 volunteer — always ready with a smile, good humor, and that special community spirit we all appreciate.

Now Jim is facing a serious battle with cancer. After years of giving so much to our town, it’s our turn to support him.

Please join us for the James Williams Honorary Keeseville Cleanup on Saturday, May 2, 2026. This event honors Jim’s tremendous efforts and continues his important work.

• Meet on Front St (near the community garden)
• 8:30 am – Coffee & pastries
• 9–11 am – Litter collection in assigned areas

All ages and abilities are welcome — supplies will be provided. Hosted by the Ausable Valley Grange #973.
