Community Cleanup at Anderson Falls Park: Join Us on October 5th!
Dear Residents of the Town of Ausable and Chesterfield,
I hope this message finds you well. As your Supervisors (Ausable & Chesterfield), we, and the newly formed Parks & Recreation Commission, are always looking for ways to strengthen our community and enhance the spaces we all cherish. Today, I’m excited to announce an upcoming volunteer opportunity that will make a real difference right here in our backyard: the Clean Up Anderson Falls Park event!
Anderson Falls Park in Keeseville is one of our community’s hidden gems—a beautiful natural spot that offers families, walkers, and nature lovers a peaceful retreat. However, like many public areas, it could use a little TLC to keep it pristine and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we’re organizing this community effort to trim overgrown areas, remove litter, and restore the park’s natural beauty.

Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, October 5, 2025
- Time: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Location: Anderson Falls Park, Keeseville, NY 12944
This event is a fantastic way for neighbors to come together, get some fresh air, and contribute to our shared environment. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to the area, your participation will help make Anderson Falls Park even more welcoming for generations to come.
How to Get Involved:
To ensure we have enough supplies and can coordinate effectively, we kindly ask that you register in advance. Please complete the short registration form at this link. You’ll need to provide the names of all attendees and your contact information (email and phone) so we can reach out if needed. The form also includes a spot to let us know how you heard about the event and any questions or comments you might have.
What to Bring:
We recommend bringing your own lawn tools to help with the cleanup, such as:
- Pruning shears
- Weed whackers
- Rakes
- Brooms/Blowers
- Gloves (essential for safety!)
Please dress comfortably for outdoor work and wear appropriate footwear.

This is more than just a cleanup; it’s a chance to build community spirit and take pride in our local parks. Events like this remind us of the power of collective action in keeping our towns vibrant and beautiful.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Town of Ausable or Nicole Bombard at the Parks & Recreation Commission (keesevilleparksandrecreation@gmail.com). We can’t wait to see you there!
Together,
-Tim & Clayton
