JCEO: Daycare Training Opportunity
Dear Residents of the Town of AuSable,
I hope this message finds you and your families well.
As many of you know, access to high-quality, safe, and reliable child care and daycare options remains an important need in our community and across Essex and Clinton Counties. Whether you’re a parent seeking care for your little ones, a grandparent helping out, or someone interested in becoming or improving as a childcare provider, ongoing education and training play a key role in supporting our children and families.
The attached flyer (below) advertises an upcoming daycare training session at the Ausable Town Hall (correction: not at the civic center), 111 Ausable Street, Keeseville at 10:00AM-11:30AM. This training is brought to us by Joint Council for Economic Opportunity (JCEO) and is FREE!
These sessions typically cover essential topics such as:
- Health and safety standards
- Child development and age-appropriate activities
- Positive guidance and behavior management
- Emergency procedures and first aid/CPR basics
- Nutrition, inclusion practices, and regulatory compliance
If you’re an aspiring childcare provider in the Town of Ausable (including Keeseville, Ausable Chasm, or nearby areas), I strongly encourage you to review the flyer and consider attending. This opportunity will connect you with resources, networking, and support to strengthen our local childcare landscape.
For parents or guardians: Knowing our providers are up-to-date on best practices gives peace of mind. If you’re seeking childcare referrals or subsidized options, reach out to local resources like JCEO’s Day Care Program (518-561-6310).
If you have questions about the training please contact Chris at JCEO, danussica@jceo.org. Let’s continue supporting one another in building a strong, family-friendly community.
Thank you for all you do for the children of Ausable!
Warm regards,
-Tim
