Summer is here, and the Keeseville Free Library is rolling out an exciting lineup of programs, events, and celebrations that are perfect for all ages. Whether you’re looking for family activities, creative workshops, intellectual discussions, or just a cool place to connect with friends, our local library has something for everyone this June and beyond.

Artisan of the Month: Greg Badger

Stop by the library throughout June to enjoy the vibrant paintings of Greg Badger. A visual artist from Peru, Greg captures Adirondack landscapes, wildlife, farm animals, local historical buildings, and even pet portraits with a playful, engaging style. Learn more at www.gregbadgerart.com.

Don’t Miss These June Highlights

• Cyanotype Printing Workshop (Saturday, June 20, 10 am–12 pm): Create beautiful blue-and-white sun prints using plants and other objects. This historic art form (predating modern photography) is fun for the whole family! Preregistration required.
• Sushi Making with Joy Good (Thursday, June 11, 6 pm): Learn to roll your own sushi – a delicious, hands-on experience.
• Teen Game Night (Thursday, June 18, 6 pm): Teens, come unwind with games and friends.
• Adult Trivia Nights: Keeseville Country Gardens Trivia (June 24, 1 pm) and regular Adult Trivia (June 24, 6 pm).
• Book Club (Wednesday, June 3, 6 pm), Culinary Club (June 17, 6 pm), and more.

Friends of the Keeseville Free Library Bookshop

Support the library by shopping at the Bookshop! Open Wednesdays (June 3, 10, 17, 24) from 10 am–1 pm and this month only on Saturday, June 20 from 10 am–1 pm. Look for the sign in the parking lot.

Mark Your Calendar for July

The Keeseville Community Arts Festival returns July 17 & 18 – a wonderful celebration of local talent and creativity. Many generous sponsors make these events possible, including the Town of Ausable and Town of Chesterfield.
