A Packed November Calendar Full of Fun and Learning

The library’s November lineup is designed to bring people together while sparking curiosity and creativity. Here’s a rundown of the special one-time events:

• November 1: Moon Dance (Studying the Night Sky) with Ed Gunther at 5 PM – Kick off the month with an enchanting evening under the stars. Perfect for astronomy enthusiasts or anyone looking to marvel at the night sky.
• November 5: Book Club at 6 PM – Dive into captivating stories and lively discussions with fellow book lovers.
• November 12: Karaoke at G.B.E.C. at 10 AM – Unleash your inner rockstar in a fun, supportive environment.
• November 12: Trustees Meeting at 5 PM – Open to the public; a great way to get involved in library decisions.

Note that the library will be closed on November 27 and 28 for Thanksgiving – plenty of time to enjoy family and reflect on our wonderful community.

Special Spotlights: Community Care and Creativity

The newsletter also shares heartwarming updates from Library Director Robyn, who thanks everyone for donations to their resource restroom and winter coat drive. It’s a testament to our town’s caring spirit! This month, they’re selling handmade winter hats and mittens by Beth Fehlner, with all proceeds benefiting the North Country SPCA – a purr-fect way to stay warm and support local animals.

Don’t forget to check out the Artist of the Month: Stephen Pedulla. Inspired by the stunning Champlain Valley and Adirondacks, his works span photography, oils, acrylics, and airbrush paintings. Stop by to admire his pieces and get inspired.
