A Big Thank You to the Keeseville Knights of Columbus – Coats for Kids 2025

Dear Neighbors and Friends of the Town of AuSable,

As the cold weather settles in across the Adirondacks, the brothers of Keeseville Knights of Columbus Council #4689 are once again carrying out one of their most heartfelt missions: the Coats for Kids program.

This past week, a dedicated group of Knights gathered at their council home on Route 22 to sort and prepare dozens of brand-new, high-quality winter coats that will soon keep local children warm all winter long. Thanks to the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids initiative, they were able to purchase beautiful coats in many sizes and colors: pinks, purples, blues, classic black, bright red, and more.  These coats have been delivered to Keeseville Elementary School for distribution to kids who need them.

Best of all, these coats are completely free for any child in our community who needs one.

If you know a child in school who could use warm winter outerwear this year, please let them know about this program and have them visit the nurse’s office at Keeseville Elementary!

A huge thank-you to the brothers who gave their time to make sure every coat is ready to go to a child who needs it. Your cheerful service is what the Knights are all about.
